
The 14th Century Kings Arms Hotel is a historic hotel in a historic city and is situated in the heart of the city opposite Salisbury Cathedral at the St Ann's Gate entrance to Cathedral Close and a minutes walk from the old Market Square. The hotel has beams that date back to the 1300's and was a refuge for Charles I during the Civil War. Handel composed and held recitals in a room opposite the Kings Arms in St Ann's Gate.
