Prestonfield House was built in 1687 for Sir James Dick by Sir William Bruce. It is one of Scotland's finest historic mansions, which opened as a hotel in 1959. The hotel is a five minute drive from Princes Street, the Heart of Edinburgh and all the major tourist attractions.
