The hall is set in magnificent grounds, which were landscaped by Capability Brown in 1763.
The original Elizabethan kitchen, with its back-to-back hearth and massive timbered ceiling, has been converted into the restaurant. With the addition of the Georgian and Victorian wings, complete with gargoyles and gables, the interior is wonderfully varied.
