Pickerings Hotel, Preston

The Pickerings, was built before 1795 and was used as a private dwelling. In 1978 it was established as a hotel and became known as 'The Pickerings'. The Hotel was extended in 1989 and now has some twelve bedrooms all with en-suite bathrooms. Pickerings Hotel is set in its own grounds with many mature trees and interesting gardens, gaining a 'Best Kept Hotel' Award in 1998.

Garstang is situated midway between Preston and Lancaster and boasts a wealth of old buildings, numerous Weinds and a market, which dates back to the reign of King Edward II. Since 1310 this market has been held in the main street every Thurday.Easily accessible from the M6 North or South via the A6, The Pickerings Hotel is just a short ride from the Lake District, the Trough of Bowland and the beautiful Flyde Coast.
