This is a Small Hotel of 10 Rooms and 3 Suites. The mansion was originally the home of the local Gaelic Chieftain. Liss Ard's 50 acres of gardens have carefully laid pathways and a contemporary landscaped garden. The garden focuses ten "rooms", including the Irish Sky Garden, designed by Californian installation artist James Turrell.
The decoration of the house has influences from West Cork, Japan, California and Germany - highly sophisticated minimalism, yet also very comfortable. The rooms are supplied with connections for TV, video, fax, & computers. There is a small gym and a businesslike meeting room.
