Forest Park Hotel was originally a vicarage, built on a forest site granted by the Crown, and paid for by John Morant, whose family once owned 425 acres around Brockenhurst, in the latter half of the 18th Century.
Forest Park became a hotel in 1902, and apart from being used as a military hospital in World War I, has remained as a hotel to this day.
Forest Park now boasts an All-weather Tennis Court, Outdoor Heated Swimming Pool in the summer months and Log Cabin Sauna. There are excellent Riding Stables within the 4 acres of the hotel's grounds, and also a well stocked, lovingly tended garden. In winter months, when entering Forest Park, the blazing log fire greets you adding to the warm, friendly ambience of this fine country hotel.
